Hammersmith team did a multifaceted program for Black History Month at LMS. On Friday, the 13th of February, Hammersmith students participated in multiple workshop/information sessions with all the team members participating. It included information about various aspects of Black History and culture. Students from the Hammersmith Aerospace Science Project class gave power point presentations about the Tuskegee Airmen. Hammersmith students have been learning about the rich influence and heritage of Black Americans with the delicious foods we prefer today. Ms. S offered students an experience with games. The Humanities classes have been researching how music helped to break down racial barriers and bring the American people closer together. |
