List of Alumni with E-mail Addresses

I was at Feltwell for 8th and 9th grade, 1971-1973, did my 7th grade year at London Central. I do have a home e-mail address, tbbhrizuk@cox.net.

I am going to be in England in March, my mother is British, will be celebrating my grandfather 90th birthday, was thinking about making a trip to the area, would there be a problem visiting the school?

Hello all Feltwell/Lakenheath Alums! I too remember my days at Feltwell....I remember names like Sam Soal, Kim Mclaughlin, Jill Leaders, Bobby Henderson, and Chris Yonkers. My name then was Darnell Johnson.....known by some as Dorknell. The days that I spent in England were awesome.

I attended Lakenheath Middle School For 6th grade and 7th grade, year 2000. I made some wonderful friends there and had great times. I moved away to Ft. Campbell, KY and graduated from a public school. I constantly, to this day compare how wonderful the teachers at LAMS to the public school teachers who never seemed to care quite as much as DODD school teachers. I would love to hear from old friends or even someone who just recognizes my name.  My email is smiley_frog1617@yahoo.com .
Thanks and I cant wait to hear from you!
Amanda Karr

Hi everyone,

I attended Lakenheath Middle school from 1976-1979; fondly remember debate class (Mrs. McGowan), Mr. Domingue, Senor Cardinal (think I made him cry once) was friends with Donna James, Michelle Alcathie...KC, I saw your posting and I believe we had debate class together.  I have been on the Military Brats website as well to try to find some of the kids I went to school with, not much luck there either.  Hope everyone is well - if you grab your old yearbook and remember me, give me a shout:  lpalmer@teamedition.com or jagtote@yahoo.com

Hi,
I was Nicole (NiKi) Davis back then (1981-1984).  Those were the best school years ever.    LAMS just had a special atmosphere that you don’t find at other middle schools.  Choir, SkyHappy!, Student Council….they were all lots of fun.  Gym with Mr. Cardinelli and Choir with Mr. Domingue.  English with Mrs. McKay and Social Studies with Mrs. Hawthorne.  Lunch at the AYA or with Kelly Golis in Mr. Fleagle’s room working on the Science quiz program on one of those early MS-DOS computers.  Life was great and carefree.  Not to mention Maxie Linton!  Well, I’d love to hear from anyone.  sixbontragers@verizon.net or Nicoles.hope@gmail.com

Hi! I still go by Samantha Ash although my married name is Allen. I went to feltwell in the early 80's for 6th 7th and 8th and LOVED IT! I miss my friends as we have all lost touch! Kim Beaulieu, Melissa Zagorski, Candice Wasbottom, Tony Jackson, Kyle Landers, Amy, DEDE, and so many others.

Please email me! If you remember me or any of us.

Hi!

My Name was Debbie Boso when I attended Lakenheath Middle school back from 1963 to 1966.  You talk about a great time.  I was in seventh heaven.  We all had sooooo much fun.  The Beatles were starting, along with the Rolling Stones.  Sonny and Cher was new.  We didn't have all the new tech that is out today, so to find out anything from the"States", you usually had to wait on the new kid moving in.
If anyone is out there (Like Cindy Chew)  email me at Stoneburnerviper@aol.com.  I would love to hear from you

I stumbled across the site and was shocked to see a picture of myself from 1976. My name is John Ruffin and I smiale when I look back at my time in England. Feltwell was a great place and even if we didn't always agree we were dependents trying our best to make the best out of the situation. I played many sports while there, and even broke my leg pulling a bone headed stunt, like sliding on ice. I now live in Delaware and after several military conflicts I found my true calling. I'm a full time single DADDY.

Carl Sanchez here. I’d love to hear from fellow alumni that attended from 72-74. I can be reached at CarlSJ@smw104.org.

My name Patty Coker Easterling.  I attended LAMS in '85.  People probably remember I was always with my twin, Pj. Going to school in England was an experience I would never forget.  We rode to school on double decker busses and was ID checked by soldiers with machine guns.  It was crazy!  I believe we named the leopard mascot Leoni the Leopard.  We named it after Leoni Keating, the 3 year old that was kidnapped from a caravan in Great Yarmouth 1985.  She was found bounded in a ditch outside of Mildenhall I believe.  I still remember it to this day.

My name is Benjamin McMillen I attended LAMS from 6th to 8th grade.  Not exact years but I was there for the year 2000 I know that much...my times at LAMS were the most memorable in my life.  I can still remember pretty much everyone in my class its so crazy.  My father was active duty stationed at Lakenheath.  I am now active duty and stationed at Sheppard AFB for tech school.

The teachers at LAMS had an awesome impact on my life, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. K, Mr. W, Mrs. Hoag (been in that office plenty of times), and many others.  If anyone remembers me or wishes to contact me my email is : all_taken8688@yahoo.com

Piicture of Benjamin   Thanks Benjamin McMillen

My name is Susan Coble. I attended LAMS for 6th grade from 1994-1995. I was in the discovery house. I was Susan Callis then!

Good day fellow alumni. My name while attending Feltwell was Sara Tuttle.  My brother, Jeff and sister Jan attended Lakenheath and Feltwell from 1967-1970.  We were bussed from Brandon and would often wander around Feltwell with friends after school and between classes.

After attending sixth grade classes in a quonset hut on base at Lakenheath, it was a pleasure to move to Feltwell for seventh grade.   Our only school paper at the time was mimeographed on legal sized paper but I have kept it all these years. I remember my speech class fondly because during one particular speech on dog obedience training,my mother handed me our West Highland Terrier through the classroom window for a demonstration. I also remember getting in a bit of trouble for wearing slacks to school because it was against the dress code.

I would love to get in touch with anyone that attended in 1969-1970.  My e-mail address is sourdough@donobi.net.

My name is Ashley Olesnevich-Randolph and I attended LAMS from 1995-1999 (6th  - 8th) Grade.  If anyone remembers me you can email me at Ashley.randolph@yahoo.com .  I would love to hear from some old friends.

I would like to be added to the alumni list. I attended Lakenheath American Middle School for 6th and 7th grade, between August 1991 – spring  1993. The email address I would like listed is lilkimn@hotmail.com My maiden name was Kim Neason. Thank you.

I am a Feltwell Junior High School Alumni from '70 to '74.  I use to draw the leopard on our school newspaper.  I was also a cheerleader for the Lakenheath Falcons Youth Football team.  My name is Kathy Grant. I really miss those days.  Ricky Barlow and I were an item during those years.  My email address is kathleeng6@aol.com.

Hello, one more of feltwell's lost kids has found this page, I have already got in contact with Kelly Furr and Diane  Angus, I don't plan on stopping there. Give me a shout out at siskorky1950@aol.com, to reconnect. Or call me at 209 271 8788.

Hello out there I am also one of the chosen few that went to Feltwell jr. High in 1974. My name is Gene Boyd and I have already been in contact with Kelly Furr and Diane Angus. Anyone that can knock the dust off the memory banks and get in contact with me AT 209 271 8788. THANKS AHEAD OF TIME! I LIVE IN STOCKTON CA

Hello! My name is Branden Williams and I'm an Alumni of LAMS. I am listed on the alumni 1990-2000 section of the webpage. I still remember my times there at LAMS with very fond memories, and would like to stay current on the alumni section. Thank you so much.

Thanks again for keeping me a part of the history of such a great part of my childhood!

I was at Feltwell in 1977-79, then at Lakenheath H.S. for 79-80.  I lived at Mildenhall.  I absolutely loved my years in England, and have fond memories of many friends, including Allie O'Conner, Steve Jesmer, Calvin Giordano, Alicia Leskanich, Samina Barksdale, Chris Yonkers, John Walbrecht, the Daugherty brothers, Stacy Langford, and my best friend Mary Doyle!!!!  Also, my favorite teacher Mr. Domingue!  I especially remember my french class, and the "This is England" class, going to the horse races at Newmarket, and the exchange program to France!  And of course the whole Mildenhall "Valient St." gang!  Best of all, the horseback riding at Reeder's in Worlington!  WOW!  What memories. I'm a teacher in Georgia.  My email addresses are heatherdmg@aol.com and graceh@clarke.k12.ga.us.
I've been in touch with Mary Doyle and Samina Barksdale recently.
I'd love to hear from anyone who was around then, or who may know how to get in touch with folks!

Heather McNeilly

My name is Heather Halstead. I absolutely loved my time at Feltwell.  I was there for 7th and 8th grade in 1985-1987 and then moved up to Lakenheath High School.
I would love to hear from anyone who was at Feltwell in that time frame. I would especially love to hear from Kristy Shirley, Trendyce Wasbotten and other girls I loved to hang out with back then.
drop me a line at hhalstead@gevatheatre.org

I attended FMS (77-79).  My best friends at the time were Bill Lee, Kieran Patch, Chris Yonkers, Heather McNealy, Jackie Sauer, Mike Lawson and Bobby Henderson.  Favorite teachers: Mr. Dominic (Band), Mrs. Sherouse (Social Studies).  Favorite memories: Winning the UK championship in baseball against Lakenheath in 79, AYA dances and football trips.  All the great friends I made in those few short years. I’d love to hear from anyone who knew me back then. You can contact me at: stevenjesmer@yahoo.com

I’m stationed in Washington State and am about to retire from the Air Force.  I’ll be teaching middle school myself next year.

Hey There! This is Kelly (Furr) DeFonté. The HAPPIEST time of my childhood was spent at Feltwell Jr. High from '73-'76 (7th-9th grade). Diane Angus turned me on to this website and what a thrill it was to see MY picture in your archives! That's me in Nelson Miranda's (?) arms!

I'm still BFF with Diane after all these years, found Louise Arbogast again on the internet, and Vince Cervantes proved that you never forget your first love, even after all these years.

People have told me over the years that it must have been hard being a "Brat" and moving all over the place, but I tell them that I would never trade the experiences I had. What an incredible place to be during my 'awakening years'. Feltwell holds more memories, with the people, the times, and the music, than any other place in my life. I miss walking that campus!

If you remember me and want to play catch up, send me an e-mail at kdefonte@satx.rr.com. Been looking for Aubrey Webb and Gene Boyd. Anybody?!

October 7, 2009

My name is Diane Angus and I attended Feltwell Junior High School from '72-'75, then attended LHS for one year.  One of my favorite memories of Feltwell was sitting next to the window in Ms. Dear's math class and looking outside to see how many people would slip and fall on all the mud outside of the building entrance.  The hanger that doubled as our gym was always so cold but was a great place to hang out.  I still have a lot of friends from that time that I have stayed in touch with like Kelly Furr, Debi Furr, Vincent Cervantes and other.  What a grand time we had.

Anyone that would like to share some memories or get in touch, please send me an email.
dangus@harris.com
I'd love to hear from you.

Hi my name is Sophia Camejo and I went to LAMS(93-95). I just found out about this site. Cool. Anyhoo, after I left England, my dad was stationed at Shaw AFB in Sumter, SC where he retired after 20 years in the AF. I graduated from Sumter High School then went to USC Sumter for 2 years. After being at USC Sumter, I transfered to Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. Now I am a Senior Music Education Major and have a year and a half to go. I miss England so much. Overall everything is going well.

Hi guys or girls,
My name is Bryan M. kinikin, I was in England from 1986-90. I finally graduated high school from Crystal Lake Central High School in 1995.5. I was just wondering if anybody was still out there???

Bryan M. Kinikin
Today is a new day

I attended LAMS from '79-'82, all my middle school years. Being an AF brat it seems strange after having gone to three different elementary schools (Nimitz in Hawaii '74, Merrimac and Burbank in the Hampton/Langley, VA '75-'79), three high schools (Lakenheath '82-'83, Valley in Sacramento'83-'85, Mustang in Oklahoma '85-'86), but only one middle school. :-/
I have to say my time at Feltwell/Newmarket/Lakenheath/Mildenhall was probably the most fun I had growing up. Good people, good friends, and good times. I lived in Newmarket at Studlands Park. We got those houses when they were brand new, and everyone wanted to live out there and did we run all over the place. I went back in 1991 when I was active duty at RAF Uxbridge, and the place was in desperate need of repair. I couldn't believe how bad the housing in Newmarket looked.
My friends from that time, Craig Jenkins, Randy Lee, Tony Bruno, Brent McKnight, Paula Rogers, Ginger Crutchfield, Lori Chambers and many more I can't remember without going through my one year book from that time. Geez, did we have fun!

Anyone from anytime, any place, feel free to contact me.

My Name is Justin Bupp and I attended L.M.S for 6th
(1993 - 1994) and 7th (1994 - 1995)grade. I was in the 6th grade when the trailors were first put up. I remember my homeroom teacher. Ms. Dosedell. I left towards the end of the 7th grade year to go to the netherlands. My dad retired there and I went to school there. If anyone remembers me contact me at this email address : flexican2002@yahoo.com

This is KC Ryan and I attended Lakenheath Middle School from 1977 to 1979 and would like to hear from any old classmates or teammates from that time. I wonder what happened to Mr Domingue, the band teacher, does anybody remember the famous trip to York? Wild times. I also wonder what became of Mr Cardinale, our old basketball coach. I would like to hear from old teammates Brad Ford, Steve Tucker, Dana and Duane Darrow or anyone else from that era.

I saw John Menditto mentioned on the site, remember when I tagged you for 2 home runs in one game back in the day?
Hope you are well.

Check in if you can and go Leopards, and Falcons.

Best Regards,

KC Ryan

Hi,
I attended RAF Feltwell from 1975 to 1977. Seeing this website brought back
many fond memories. I have often tried to touch base with some of the
friends from those years but had very little luck. Hopefully as time goes
on, more alumni will find this site and make connections with old friends.
I would like to hear from others who were there during those years too.

Hi. My name is Ashley Stoker. I went to LAMS from 1996-1997. I was there for my entire 6th grade year, and moved in October of my 7th. I just graduated (2003) from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho. After retiring from the Air Force, my parents moved us here. It's a far cry from England that's for sure! I still miss it a lot, even after being gone for 5 1/2 years. I would love to recieve mail from any of my old classmates or teachers if they remember me at all.

Thank you.

I am David Heist ('85-'87 6th and 7th grade) LAMS alumni and would be excited to hear from anyone out there who may remember me. Some of the best friends of my life we're met while at LAMS. I am still in contact with Laura Mayernick, Susan Andrews, William Catts and Stacey Wilson and would love to hear from the Riegel twins, Matt and Mark again, Dan Kuhn, Matt Neilsen, Michael Crawford, Jenny Beckleheimer or Tessa Chapman.

I have been very fortunate and have a lovely wife, Cara and daughter Alexandra Jewel. I just got back last week from my first return to LAMS in 15 years and it was still awesome.

Those that were there with me I'm sure remember the BIG wind storm, AYA blowing down, and El Dorado Canyon (Bombing of Libya i.e. Lakenheath Is Bombing Your A@# !) and the forever presence of APCs and armored guards protecting the campus!! Big fads I remember -- thin leather ties, Fat Laces, NERDS, Yo-Yos, and Hard Rock Cafe Sweatshirts. What a way to grow up!!

Lastly a Little LAMS trivia for ya -- did you know that, essesntially, the #1 College Offensive and Defensive Players of the year both attended LAMS at the same time in the mid 90s!! Matt Russell Butkas Award Winner U of Colorado and Danny Wuerffel Heisman Trophy Winner U of Florida!! Cheers!!

Hello, My name is Robert Carty, and I attended Lakenheath American Middle School (LAMS) from 1993-1995, and prior to that I had attended Feltwell Elementary and Lakenheath Elementary. While in Middle School, I was a member of the Knights House in 7th grade and another house in 6th grade. We were the first group of 6th graders to be in the trailors in the center of campus. I actually painted the Lady in Waiting on the walls of the Knights house, which also had the art room in it. If it is still there, the initials RC should be at the bottom. If anyone can remember the original name of the 6th grade houses
please let me know. I saw that they had been updated. Anyway. I am currently a Junior in college and I live in Missouri now. I have been living here since
my father retired in 1995. I had a lot of friends at LAMS, and a lot of fond memories. It was a great experience and I wish that all of my friends were not
scattered all over the world. :) If anyone remembers me feel free to email me @ bobsmiles24_7@hotmail.com. And I would love to hear from the school also. Feel free to send pictures of the campus or anything. I hope to hear from anyone, so please feel free to get in touch with me!
Thanks, Robert Carty

My name is Sara White and I attended Lakenheath Middle School for my 6th (2000-2001) and 7th (2001-2002) there. I'm currently stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada, and am absolutely hating it. This is my first time living in the U.S in ten years, seven of which were spent in England, so you can imagine how I've had to adjust. I loved Lakenheath and compare everything here to it and the great times I had there with my friends, who are also currently scattered throughout the US Looking at the pictures on the site I saw many faces I remember from last year, and many new ones as well. This further reminds me of everything I'm missing over there, and I can't wait to get back. And I will be back. I'm moving to England as soon as I graduate over here, and definitely plan on visiting Lakenheath, Feltwell, and Mildenhall. My e-mail address is guarding_heart@yahoo.com.

Hello,
I am Richard Erwin and I attended the middle school up to 1980 and then moved across to the High School at Lakenheath. I have been trying to locate a friend I had at middle school. I hope that maybe he will stumble across the site like I have. I would like for my details to be listed on the web site.
Email r.erwin@btinternet.com

what my old schoolmates are up to. '94 rulz!
Thanks,

Could you please add my name to the alumni list. I was at Feltwell middle school late 70s to early 80s. I was reading some of the letters and someone wrote about Mr. Dahlgren, the principal. He was principal when I was a student and it brought back so many memories. Let's just say I was sent to his office almost daily and I was not his favorite student. I like to think I was a challenge and I made him a better person for it. I am sure that is not what he thinks.
Thank you,

Hi , my name is Carl Sanchez and I attended Feltwell, as we called it, for
my 7th, 8th and part of ninth grade classes from 1972 to 1974. I must say
this site has brought back so many great memories. Too many to recount here.
I was there the year we introduced the first yearbook ever published for the
school. It was a paperback, black and white copy with glossy paper and some
very grainy pictures. Still I have kept it as one of my most treasured
processions. If the need should ever arise to have some of the pictures from
that slice of history posted here I would consider it an honor to be able to
do so. My best friend, Jeff Stout, (73-75) and I still see each other a
couple of times a year and our years at Feltwell together are always
recalled with a smile every time we sit down together.
Just to give some of the newer alum some perspective I still remember the
day we got the news in my math class that the war in Vietnam was over. Many
of us wore bracelets that held the names of POW/MIA's. I remember the tears
as we received the news that so many wouldn't be coming home from that
conflict and the relief that our fathers wouldn't have to go back. Certainly
times have changed but not so much as the fathers of many there still serve
in time of conflict and those "BRATS" ( a term I carry with pride ) also
still serve, as ambassadors to our country as I did back in the day. God
Bless America and God Bless you all until you are safe on our soil again.

I recently found about your website from an old Feltwell buddy John Menditto. My brother Steve and I are both alums of what was called Feltwell Junior High and my dad - Wayne Dahlgren -  was the principal there for many years.

I've got lots of fond memories of my time at Feltwell - 1977-79 - and it was fun looking around  at the pictures on your site. It's good to see that those same old WWII-era buildings are still being put to good use.

After many years in the Boston area, my wife and I are currently living and teaching at a couple of universities on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu. We love it here and anticipate a couple more years before

I'd love to hear from anyone who can still remember me or other members of my family  after all of these years. My email address is:

dahlgrenbob@excite.com
Thanks,

Bob Dahlgren

Hey LMS! I'm Matt Severson, I went to LMS from 2001-2003. I recently left England to where I am currently living here in the USA, in California! I like it here a lot, the weather is great and all, but I still miss England's weather! I'm now a Sophmore in high school, seems like I was in middle school just yesterday. Believe it or not, I actually LIKE highschool too! When I attended LMS from sixth, to eighth grade, I was in Victoria, Metro, and Hammersmith. My all-time favorite teacher was Mr. Wedikind. Mr. Wedikind, if your still around, get in touch! I'll leave my e-mail address at the end. You were the coolest teacher, and you still remain my favorite, even now that i'm in highschool! It would be cool to hear from you. I see that the new school is just about done, when I was there, they were just barely clearing the field in preparation for the building. I'll look forward to seeing some pictures and stuff of the new school! I imagine that it will be very cool. The kids who get to go to the new school are lucky, you guys dont have to walk all the way out to building 99 any more, like we had to! Well, if there is any one out there who is reading this, who were in my class from sixth to eigth grade, who remember me, send me an e-mail, i'd like to hear from you. Well, thats all from me.

Hey everyone, my name is Branden Williams and I went to LAMS from 1991-1994 (my entire middle school years). I am glad to have had the experience, and look back on those days very fondly. These days, I'm a recent graduate from the University of Colorado, my degree in Communication. I am going back there to get a Master's of Education, in hopes of someday becoming an Elementary School teacher. I am married (got married May 23, 2004) to a beautiful woman named Beth, whom I met in college. For now I work as a professional close-up magician here in Colorado, and working hard to see where that road will lead me at this point in my life.

If anyone here remembers me, I would love to hear from you. Send me an email anytime. It be a nice change from the barrage of junk email I get everyday!
