Lakenheath Middle School currently has a student population of around seven hundred. LMS is structured under the House Model for middle schools. We are grouped together in eight different houses, with about 100-125 students assigned to each large house, and approximately 50 students in the small houses. Students in each house have classes from the same set of core teachers. A new school was opened in the fall of 2004.
Our school colors are black and gold and our mascot is a leopard. The school has an interesting past; the history of LMS goes back to 1969.
